Fabulously Fruity Freeze

Makes 2 serving(s)

WHAT'S IN IT?

1 (15-ounce) can tropical fruit salad in fruit juices, no sugar added (or about 1 3/4 cups of your favorite chopped fresh fruit)
1 cup low-fat vanilla ice cream or frozen yogurt, softened, but not melted

STUFF YOU NEED

Can opener
Mesh strainer
Small mixing bowl
Dry measuring cup
Large spoon
2 sealable containers

HOW TO PUT IT TOGETHER

  1. Zip open the can of fruit with a can opener. Drain the juices from the can in a mesh strainer over a small bowl. You can save the drained juices for drinking or another purpose if you want.
  2. Pour the drained fruit into a small mixing bowl. Plop in the softened ice cream from a dry measuring cup.
  3. Crank the fruit and ice cream together with a large spoon.
  4. Divide the Fabulously Fruity Freeze into 2 sealable containers, cover and freeze for at least 2 hours. When time's up, simply eat your treat!
